September 15- October 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month which traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as we celebrate heritage rooted in all Latin American countries. During this month and throughout the year, the National Park Service and our partners share history, heritage, and accomplishments of Hispanic and Latino Americans of past and present.   • Test-takers must present their Admission Tickets and acceptable Non-expired government issued photo ID to enter the test center. 
  • Admission Tickets must have an acceptable non-expired photo ID.
  • No admission ticket, no ID, no admittance!
  • Changes to test type (Subject Test to SAT), test date or test center cannot be made at the center on test day.
  • Opting out of or into the essay is possible but not guaranteed.
  • Switching essay to non-essay must be declared before start of test.
  • Cellphones will NOT be accessible throughout the entirety of the exam.


Students taking the SAT Exams on Saturday, September 26, 2020 should enter through the Middle School entrance.  Students should arrive by 7:00 am, but no later than 7:15 a.m.   Due to SAT security procedures, students are expected to have an unexpired government or school issued ID (with a picture) + Admission Ticket (with a picture) in order to take the exam.  Students without an ID and Admissions ticket will NOT be permitted to take the exam.  Also, walk-ins are not permitted.  Finally, changes to test type, test date or test center cannot be made at the center on test day.  NO Exceptions are permitted by the College Board. You may only switch from “with essay” to “without” on this exam if there is seating available. However, this intention must be declared at the beginning of the exam, before it starts.


Please bring several #2 pencils (Do Not Use Mechanical Pencils) and a calculator.  Note:  There is a “No Calculator” part of the exam.  However, on the calculator portion of the exam, scientific calculators are permitted, but graphing calculators must be approved by the College Board.  NO STUDENT may borrow another student’s calculator during the exam.  Students should check their room assignments on the bulletin board outside of the Guidance Office to see what room they are scheduled to take the exam in.  There is NO EATING or drinking in exam rooms, but students may do so in the hallways during breaks.  Students are encouraged NOT to bring cellphones.  All test takers will have their cellphones collected at the beginning of the exam, and these phones WILL NOT be accessible until the exam is completed.  You cannot use your phones during breaks.  Anyone violating this policy will be escorted out of the exam and your test scores will be cancelled.  Thank you for your cooperation.  See Mr. Ferreri if you have any questions.

All Clubs will take place virtually so that every PMHS student can participate. Clubs will begin 30 minutes following the school day to allow for travel time home for students who had been on-site and a break-time for students who have been learning from home.
